DATA LOGGER SPECIFICATION
FS East is going to use the self developed data logger for the 2021 event. You can find the specification below.
ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL
CV teams, which are using Electronic Throttle Control have to upload an ETC System Description. Late submission of the System Description will require the team to revert to a mechanical throttle arrangement.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM FORM
All EV teams and DV teams with electric traction system must submit an Electrical System Form.

The above template is necessary for teams with submitted ESF template on the FSG website only.
AUTONOMOUS SYSTEM FORM
All DV teams must submit an Autonomous System Form.

STRUCTURAL EQUIVALENCY SPREADSHEET
The official SES template of FS East is the FS21 SES v1.0 document supplied
by Formula Student Germany.
DESIGN SPEC SHEET
All teams must submit a Design Spec Sheet in a single Adobe Acrobat® (*.pdf) file with the following nomenclature: CAR#_DSS.pdf (e.g. 01_DSS.pdf). The template must not be altered or reformatted prior the submission.
A properly filled out DSS should be 6 pages long for CV and EV categories, and 7 pages long for DV category.
HEALTH INSURANCE CERTIFICATE
For the health insurance certificate we need scanned documents. We prefer the EU health insurance cards, but if anyone has his/her own insurance for abroad journeys, it’ll be accepted as well. We only request these documents to be prepared in case any of you get injured during the event. A scanned copy of your papers will be with us even if you might forget to bring them to FS East.
Immunity certificates & SARS-CoV-2 PCR tests are not requested in advance, however you’ll have to show them during registration in order to enter the premises of the event.
TEAM MEMBER DESIGNATION
For team member designation we need a regular Excel file with the names and positions of the members with some contact data. Due to the pandemic, we also require information about the immunity status of the team members, therefore please indicate whether the team members will have an EU approved / Hungarian Immunity Certificate for the event.
If you can not upload the final version of your team member designation until the deadline, include your present members. You’ll have the chance to submit a final version before the event.
In case you add new members, your team member designation and health insurance certificate documents must be updated as well.
STANDARD TERMS DOCUMENT
The Standard Terms Document should be read and signed by all participating team members. A printed version is required to submit during Team Registration.
FS EAST CAMP RULES
Please make sure to read the FS East Camp rules before checking-in to the campsite. By entering the premises, you declare that you accept and follow the rules during your stay.

DEEP DIVE TOPIC
All teams receive the same specific Deep Dive Topic which has to be part of the ten minute Business Plan presentation.

Hydrogen Concept Challenge
The goal of the contest is to develop and present a concept for a hydrogen powertrain of a Formula Student car. To enter this optional concept challenge the teams are requested to submit a document of a maximum of 10 pages in text form with pictures and/or diagrams as a PDF. Special awards and prize money will be published later. The report of the hydrogen powertrain has to be submitted per email to [email protected] by 2024-07-07 23:59.

Please follow the instructions below to correctly submit your documents:
– Submit your Team Member Designation to the TMD task using the Excel template available on our website.
– Submit your Health Insurance Certificate for each team member, compressed into a single zip file to the HIC task.
The deadline for submitting the TMD and HIC tasks are extended to 23:59 CEST, 5th of July, Friday, 2024.! PLEASE NOTE: after the deadline you can’t change the team members!

From this season the Team Member Designation spreadsheet will be replaced with registering on our website, all team members have to create an account in order to attend the competition. The registration will be complete when the team captain confirms the participation of the team members assigned to the team after logging in to the team’s account. In case you add new members before the competition, your health insurance certificate documents must be updated as well!
