FS EAST 2026 IS CANCELLED
It is with a heavy heart that we announce: Formula Student East 2026 will not take place. 💔
Over the past months, our organising team worked tirelessly to secure the professional, operational and financial conditions required for the event. Despite every effort made, the financial support necessary for the responsible delivery of the competition could not be confirmed. For years, we pursued every avenue, followed every promise made to us – we were heard, we were encouraged, but the commitments we were counting on could not be fulfilled this time.
Partners who had supported us in previous years stepped back from the collaboration, and Hungary is going through significant changes – we know Formula Student East is not the most pressing matter in that context. We hope that as things settle, there will be a path forward.
We gave everything we had. Formula Student East has always been more than a competition to us. We hope that this is not the end – and one day, we will be back.
We will be reaching out to all registered teams shortly to discuss next steps.
