Campsite booking for FS East 2018 is now open! You can reserve your team’s parcel for nights between 16th and 23rd July at the FS East Village. The reservation should include all team members and your guests who’d like to stay at the campsite during the event. All necessary information related to the sleeping and living conditions are available on our Accommodation page (for logged in users only).

Join FS East as a Volunteer!

In 2018 we’re going to organise the most exciting Formula Student event ever in Hungary with the debut of driverless formula cars and the inauguration of the Zala ZONE Automotive Proving Ground. Now is the time to be a part of it – apply as a volunteer and join us for the ride!

If you’ve already been involved in the world of Formula Student, we probably don’t need to explain it’s going to be a professional yet fun experience. However you’re always welcome on our team if this would be you first time taking on an official t-shirt.

Static Event Rules update

We recently updated the Static Event Rules with some minor additions regarding the Business, Cost and Design events as well. Make sure to check the following points of the rules document:

  • Business Plan Presentation scoring clarification (S2.1.6)
  • CBOM subject (S2.2.5)
  • Design Spec Sheet template information (S2.3.5 )

Remote Emergency Switch – DV teams

We have an important announcement concerning teams who participate at FS East with a driverless vehicle:

we’re going to use the same configuration of Remote Emergency Switch at FS East as Formula Student Germany, which has an increased, 88 mW radiation power. According to the Hungarian law using these kind of devices must be registered in advance at the National Media and Infocommunications Authority. The event organisers are going to take care of the registration, therefore no further action is required from the teams’ side.

The event is organized by the Engineers for the Automotive Higher Education Associasion
