This is a post we have been wanting to publish for months now. We understand that planning with our event so far has been difficult. At this point, we want to thank you very much for bearing with us in these uncertain times and for believing in FS East 2024! Despite Hungary not being a huge country, your season’s careful planning, where every hour can count, has been hanging in the balance.🕑
No more though! We are delighted to announce that FS East 2024 is returning to one of our former venues, the ZalaZone Automotive Proving Ground in Zalaegerszeg from the 28th of July to the 3rd of August!🎉 With two successful competitions already at ZalaZone, as well as our pre-event, FS Easter, the dynamic platform of ZalaZone is waiting for you to show off your amazing machines!🏎
A wholehearted thank you goes out to AVL ZalaZONE for generously hosting us, and to you for your patience and understanding! FS EAST LOCATION AND DATE INFORMATION

If you follow Formula 1 closer, you are aware that our gracious host the Hungaroring’s track premises and supporting infrastructure are undergoing major renovation thanks in huge part for its secured spot on the F1 calendar for years to come. These works have allowed our return to the track last year with certain restrictions, however, this year, they take full effect hence we have been on the hunt for a new location for FS East since we are aware of this development.

At this time, we can confirm the date of the event, which has been announced as preliminary before – FS East is returning between the 29th of July and 4th of August!

Where we will return is still under development, it will be a suitable location within Hungary. Amongst the candidates are the newly developed Balaton Ring Circuit and the ZalaZone Test Track. We are working on confirming our location as soon as we can, so expect information on this site. Our team wants to ensure that the experience of FS East will only be improved in the new location and you all can enjoy a safe and fun environment for our competition.

Don’t forget therefore to register your team and participate in our quiz for a slot on our start line, and watch this space for the announcement of our location! Deadlines:
TEAM REG DEADLINE: 25th January 10:59 CET
