Get ready for FS East 2022!

Jan/22 By

There’s only less than a week until we’re opening Event Registration for FS East 2022! We’ve listed a few pointers below to follow for a successful registration process:

1. Get your team profile in order:

Team Registration starts on the 21st of January at 22:00 CET at login.fseast.eu.

  • If you already have a profile, log in and make sure to update your team information, especially Team Captain contacts and Billing Information.
  • If you’re new to FS East, your Team Captain has to create a new profile.
  • At FS East teams are allowed to participate with the same car in multiple categories (CV-DV and EV-DV). In that case you have to create separate profiles to be able to secure two dedicated slots on the registration list.
  • Team Registration will be closed one hour before the quiz goes live. If you create a profile after 10:00 CET on January 28th, you won’t be able to access the quiz.

IMPORTANT: teams who try to fill out the quiz with different profiles related to the same category are automatically disqualified from the quiz and moved to the end of the waiting list.

Future of DV category at FS East

Oct/21 By

As the season of 2021 is getting to its end and we know that many of you are already thinking about the season of 2022.

For this preparation we would like to provide you some information – especially regarding the Driverless category. Let’s start with the most burning question:

based on a lot of discussions and feedback rounds we decided to have separate EV, CV and DV categories for the event of 2022.

This means that we do not plan to merge the driverless category with the base car category in the next racing season. Also, we would like to make our event flexible in the sense that we would like to provide opportunity for those teams who decide that they would like to participate in two categories (e.g. DV and EV) with the same car as well. We are convinced that with this solution we are able to provide you the best race experience amongst our possibilities.

Have a great preparation for 2022 and see you at the competition!

Carnival Square at FS East

Aug/4 By

For 2 years, Formula Student campsites were quiet and empty. Now is the time to bring the spirit back even stronger, and this is your job this year at the FS East Village! A special section of our campsite has been marked, right in front of the main stage, just for you to share your country’s best food or drink and have fun with Formula Student friends that you’ve been missing for so long! This is FS East Camp Carnival Square!

Each team gets a 5 m x 5 m area to set up their station for the entire stay at our campsite. You can pitch a tent, install some funky lighting, bring your grills and your favourite drinks – hospitality is the name of the game! Make sure to dress it up nicely so all the people of the FS East Camp flock to your booth! This is a chance the organizers give you to turn the campsite into a festival in front of the main stage. All we ask is to keep it safe in return – it’s the deal of the century, right?

More info about the setup and exact location will be available!

So in short:

  • 5 m x 5 m area in front of the main stage per team FOR THE ENTIRE COMPETITION!
  • Bring your own generator if you need electricity!
  • Bring food and drinks that you want to share with FS East
  • HAVE FUN! (;
The event is organized by the Engineers for the Automotive Higher Education Associasion
